Westmeath Lotto Plus 2 winner comes forward to claim €250,000 from Saturday’s draw
The top prize winner from the Saturday 1st June Lotto Plus 2 draw has come forward and arrangements are now being made for them to collect their €250,000 prize in Lotto HQ.
The Westmeath winner took the title of 1st Lotto Plus 2 top prize winner of 2024 following Saturday’s draw.
Shop owner Martin Mulligan was thrilled to hear that one of his customers spent the Bank Holiday celebrating a big win: “You know what they say, Lotto is a game of chance and now for one of our customers, it’s certainly paid off. There is already a great buzz amongst our staff and the wider community are certain to be excited as we’re a busy store here in Athlone. We have a post office and a filling station so it’s a real mix of locals and people passing through the town that we have popping into us everyday. I am sure the celebrations in-store will bring even more attention to the win but we are glad to hear that the winner has already checked their ticket and made contact. It’s great to get such good news from the weekend – let’s hope for even more to come!”
