National Lottery makes urgent appeal for Galway Lotto players to check their tickets as €46,234 prize from December 12th remains unclaimed

The National Lottery has appealed to Lotto players in the Knocknacarra area of Galway to urgently check their Lotto tickets as a Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €46,234 from Saturday 12th December remains unclaimed.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Friday 12th March which is just over two weeks away.

There were two winners of the Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize of €92,468 on Saturday 12th December 2020. The winning ticket from Galway which remains unclaimed was sold at Clybaun Stores on the Clybaun Road in Knocknacarra in Galway on the day of the draw.

The winning Lotto numbers for the draw on Saturday 12th December were: 03, 08, 10, 18, 22, 30 and the bonus was 31.

A National Lottery spokesperson has called on all Lotto players in Galway to carefully check their old Lotto tickets to ensure that they do not miss out on this prize: “We are urging anybody who may have purchased a Lotto ticket in Knocknacarra in Galway last December to carefully check their tickets as the expiry date for the outstanding prize is getting close with just over two weeks left to claim. If you are this lucky winner, please be sure to sign the back of the ticket and immediately contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total more than €5.8 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 33 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
