
Westmeath Lotto Plus player becomes the 6th National Lottery Millionaire of 2026
Cork and Galway players scoop €17,867 each in Wednesday’s draw Saturday’s Lotto draw set to roll towards €4.8 Million estimated

The midweek Lotto draw saw a Westmeath player become an overnight Millionaire after scooping the top prize of €1 Million in the Lotto Plus 1 draw.
The Westmeath player has become the 6th National Lottery Millionaire of the year to date as well as the first Lotto Plus 1 top prize winner of 2026.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location will be revealed tomorrow, Friday, 27th March.
The winning numbers in the Wednesday, 25th March, Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 14, 15, 16, 30, 37, 38 and the bonus was 31.
Two players in Cork and Galway were also celebrating after matching five numbers and the bonus in last night’s main draw to win €17,867 each. The Cork player purchased their winning ticket on the day of the draw at McCarthy News on the Main Street in Midleton while the Galway winner purchased their ticket on Tuesday 24th March at Londis Renmore, T1 Cloch Mhile, Renmore, Co Galway.
The winning numbers in last night’s main Lotto draw were: 04, 06, 08, 19, 22, 27 and the bonus was 05.
The Wednesday night winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and to make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr said: “We are urging all of our players who may have purchased their Wednesday night Lotto tickets in the Westmeath area to carefully check their tickets today as one person now has a ticket worth €1 Million. And that’s not the only big winner we are hoping to hear from! The midweek draw saw over 68,000 players nationwide win prizes across the Lotto and Plus draws, including the Westmeath Lotto Plus 1 winner, as well as two players in Cork and Galway who both matched five numbers and the bonus to win an incredible €17,867 each. The biggest winners from last night’s draw are encouraged to contact our Prize Claims team as soon as possible.”
As there was no winner of the €4,428,509 Jackpot on offer, Saturday’s Lotto jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €4.8 Million.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago.
