Was Your Weekend Journey on the M11 Worth €500,000? Wicklow EuroMillions Plus Prize Awaits

A routine motorway pitstop could prove to be worth €500,000 after a EuroMillions Plus top prize winning ticket was sold at Applegreen on the M11 in Co. Wicklow. A EuroMillions Plus player matched all five numbers in Tuesday night’s draw to secure the €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Saturday, 8th August at Applegreen, M11 Junction 14, Coyne’s Cross, Co. Wicklow, making the player the biggest winner in the country from last night’s draw.

The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers in the Tuesday, 11th August EuroMillions draw were: 12, 19, 28, 32 and 50.

The National Lottery is urging players who purchased tickets at Applegreen at Junction 14 on the M11 to check their tickets carefully, as one ticket worth €500,000 has yet to be claimed.

National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said:

“Someone travelling through Co. Wicklow over the weekend may be carrying a winning EuroMillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 after the Quick Pick was purchased at Applegreen, M11 Junction 14, Coyne’s Cross. We are encouraging players who may have been travelling on the M11 over the weekend to check their tickets carefully. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe. They can contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at National Lottery headquarters. And that’s not all! In total more than 36,000 players across Ireland won prizes in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws, but one ticket sold in Wicklow now holds a prize worth €500,000!”

Meanwhile, tonight’s Lotto Jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €3.5 Million. Players dreaming of a midweek win can purchase tickets in-store, through the National Lottery app, or online at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7:45pm sales cut-off on Wednesday evening
