Cork and Dublin Lotto Players Celebrate Midweek Wins

Last night’s Lotto draw is set to bring celebrations to players in Cork and Dublin, after two players scooped fantastic prizes in the Lotto and Lotto 54321 games.

A player in Co. Cork successfully matched five numbers and the bonus in the main Lotto draw to take home €34,710. Their winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw, from Bandon Books Plus, Unit 8 Riverview Shopping Centre in Bandon, Co. Cork.

The number in last night’s (10th June) Lotto draw were: 2, 11, 14, 22, 42, 47 and the Bonus was 29.

Meanwhile, an online player in Co. Dublin scooped €40,000 in the Lotto 54321, 7 Number Game. The Dublin player matched five of the seven numbers, including the Bonus, to win their prize.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said “It was a brilliant midweek result for Lotto players in Cork and Dublin, with two fantastic prizes won in Wednesday night’s draws. We’re urging players in Cork to check their tickets carefully today, as one ticket is now worth €34,710. Meanwhile, the Dublin Lotto 54321 winner has received an email notification and is being encouraged to check their online account for details of their prize!”

The Cork ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters. The Dublin online winner has also been notified and is encouraged to check their National Lottery account for details of their win.

As there was no winner of the €3,365,989 Jackpot on offer, Saturday’s Lotto Jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €3.8 Million.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, €7 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 39 years ago.
