A train trip to remember! Kent Station store revealed as selling location of €1 Million Daily Million ticket

The National Lottery has confirmed that Tom Stanley’s store, based in Kent Train Station in Cork City, sold the winning Daily Million ticket worth €1 Million from Sunday’s 2pm draw.

The Cork player became Ireland’s latest Daily Million top prize winner after purchasing a Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw, Sunday, 26th July.

It was a remarkable weekend for National Lottery players, with two new Millionaires created across Saturday and Sunday. A player in Co. Offaly won Saturday night’s Lotto Jackpot worth €8,221,849, while Sunday afternoon’s Daily Million draw delivered another top prize win for Cork. The latest result brings the total number of National Lottery Millionaires so far this year to 19, including four in Cork.

Store manager, Musharaf Hussain, was delighted to receive the call from the National Lottery to hear that his store sold the top prize-winning ticket from the weekend. The Cork winner is advised to contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie, and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.

Meanwhile, National Lottery players eagerly awaiting news of where Saturday night’s Lotto Jackpot-winning ticket was sold will find out tomorrow, Wednesday, 29th July, when National Lottery officials reveal the winning location in Co. Offaly.
