Two life-changing jackpots up for grabs for National Lottery players

Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot set to roll to €7 million (est)

National Lottery players all over Ireland are preparing to play for not one, but two, hugely life-changing jackpots across tonight and tomorrow night.

Tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €135 million. If the massive jackpot is won tonight in Ireland, it would mark the 18th Irish EuroMillions jackpot win since the game launched in Ireland in 2004. A possible win would follow the €30.9 million jackpot which was won in Tipperary in February of this year.

Meanwhile, excitement is growing for Lotto players all over the country as tomorrow night’s jackpot looks set to roll towards an estimated €7 million. So far this year, the Lotto jackpot has been won in Mayo, Meath and Dublin. A jackpot win in Wednesday night’s draw would see a player take the title of fourth Lotto jackpot winner of 2022 as well as Ireland’s newest millionaire.

Ahead of both highly anticipated draws, the National Lottery are encouraging players to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This could be a truly life-altering week for National Lottery players with both the EuroMillions and Lotto jackpots rolling towards massive amounts. If a player in Ireland wins the estimated €135 million jackpot up for grabs in tonight’s EuroMillions draw, they will officially become the 18th Irish EuroMillions jackpot winner since the game launched in Ireland in 2004. We are reminding players dreaming of winning big in tonight’s draw that the deadline for purchasing EuroMillions tickets is 7.30pm this evening.”

“And that’s not the only massive jackpot that National Lottery players have to play for this week! Wednesday night’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €7 million. Could we see a fourth Lotto jackpot winner joining the list of 2022 winners following tomorrow night’s draw? Don’t forget that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the cut-off time for Lotto ticket sales at 7.45pm tomorrow evening.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.

Play National Lottery games responsibly, play for fun.
