Saturday night’s Lotto jackpot set to roll to an estimated €8.5 million

Excitement is growing for National Lottery players across the country as we get closer to two life-changing jackpot draws across the weekend.

Tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €195 million. If the huge jackpot is won tonight in Ireland, it would mark the 18th Irish EuroMillions jackpot win since the game launched in Ireland in 2004.

Meanwhile, National Lottery players will have another chance to win a life-altering sum on Saturday night as tomorrow’s Lotto jackpot heads towards an estimated €8.5 million. So far this year, we have seen the Lotto jackpot won by players in Mayo, Meath and Dublin.

Ahead of tonight and tomorrow night’s highly anticipated draws, the National Lottery are encouraging players to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie. Players are also reminded that the cut-off time for ticket sales for tonight’s EuroMillions draw is 7.30pm this evening while the deadline for purchasing a ticket for Saturday’s Lotto draw is 7.45pm tomorrow evening.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Could this be a truly memorable weekend for National Lottery players? As tonight’s EuroMillions jackpot heads towards an estimated €195 million and tomorrow’s Lotto jackpot looks set to roll to an estimated €8.5 million, we are advising players dreaming of winning big to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie. EuroMillions players are reminded that the deadline for purchasing tickets for tonight’s draw is 7.30pm this evening while the cut-off time for ticket sales for Saturday’s Lotto draw is 7.45pm tomorrow evening.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.

Play National Lottery games responsibly, play for fun.
