Tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to be the highest of the year so far!

The number 13 could prove to be very lucky for one Lotto player tonight. The current Lotto jackpot has been remarkably rolling since Wednesday 9th June with tonight’s jackpot now heading towards the truly life-changing amount of €13 million (estimated).

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Tonight’s draw is set to be a big one with the jackpot hitting the highest amount we have seen in the game for over five years. The last time a Lotto jackpot exceeded €13 million was in January 2016 when a lucky ticketholder from Belmullet, Co. Mayo scooped the jackpot prize of €13,793,435. As we get closer to tonight’s draw, we are encouraging our players dreaming of winning big to avoid queues and to purchase their tickets early in-store, in-app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the cut-off time for ticket sales at 7.45pm this evening. One lucky player could potentially wake up tomorrow as Ireland’s newest millionaire!”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago. In 2020 alone, €254 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
