24/06/2024
With tomorrow night’s EuroMillions Jackpot set to head towards an astonishing €215 Million (estimated), players all over the country are hoping to be crowned Ireland’s newest EuroMillions Millionaire following Tuesday night’s draw.
Since the EuroMillions game launched in Ireland in 2004, there have been 17 Irish EuroMillions Jackpot winners. If Tuesday’s staggering €215 Million Jackpot is won in Ireland, we could see a new Irish winner added to the roll call of Jackpot wins.
So far this year, the EuroMillions game has seen 18 players in Ireland win life-changing prizes. The EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000 has been won ten times since January by players in Dublin (3), Tipperary, Cork, Wicklow (2), Kilkenny, Laois and Kildare. A Cork player also became an overnight Millionaire after scooping €1,005,000 in the special Ireland Only Raffle in May.
Five players scoop Matched 5 numbers and 1 Lucky Star and two players matched 5 numbers.

National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Ruane had the following advice for players hoping to win big in Tuesday’s draw: “Tomorrow night’s EuroMillions draw could prove to be life-changing for a player in Ireland as the Jackpot heads towards an estimated €215 Million. Over the past twelve months, we have seen 18 players in Ireland win life-changing prizes – could this Tuesday see another added to this list? Since the EuroMillions game launched in Ireland in 2004, there have been 17 Irish EuroMillions Jackpot winners to date. As we get closer to the deadline for ticket sales at 7:30pm tomorrow evening, we are reminding players that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie”.
Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago. In 2022 alone, €259.5 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
