Month of Millionaires! National Lottery to make FOUR guaranteed Millionaires in Ireland this September

In July, we hit the incredible milestone of 1000 Lottery Millionaires, and this month we’re going to add FOUR more Millionaires to that enviable list!

This September, the National Lottery are carrying out a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ and Lotto Plus Raffle events which will guarantee to a make four brand new Lottery Millionaires this September.

These raffle events mean that there will be one guaranteed winner of €1 Million in each Friday EuroMillions draw on 6th , 13th, 20th and one in the Lotto Plus Raffle draw on Saturday 28th of September.

Commenting on this exciting promotion a spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We’re so excited to launch this incredible promotion which will see FOUR brand new Lottery Millionaires made this month! It’s going to be a whirlwind of winners in Lottery HQ!

Typically, every EuroMillions draw produces ten winners of the €5,000 Ireland Only Raffle prize but over the next three Friday draws, we have created something extra special. In addition to the normal Raffle prize, one winner in each of the next three draws will win a life-changing €1 Million in addition to the usual €5,000 Raffle prize.

Similarly, the Lotto Plus Raffle typically sees between 80 and 120 winners of €500 in every draw but on Saturday the 28th of September, one player will win a whopping €1 Million.

Not only will these special promotions see the creation of four instant Millionaires in Ireland over the four weeks, but all EuroMillions and Lotto players in Ireland will also be in with a chance of winning the juicy Jackpots in their respective games.”, the spokesperson continued.

How do I enter the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’?

Every player in Ireland who buys a ticket for any Friday EuroMillions draw between the 6th and 20th of September will be automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ for that corresponding draw. A unique code on each ticket will be the player’s raffle number. One player in each draw will become guaranteed Millionaires. It could be you! 

How does this work?

As with every EuroMillions draw the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ sees 10 raffle codes generated with each winning €5,000. One of these ten winners will then have an additional €1 million added to their prize in the three EuroMillions draws on 6th, 13th and 20th September.

How do I enter the Lotto Plus Raffle?

Every Lotto player who purchases a ticket with the Lotto Plus option included will be automatically entered into the Lotto Plus Raffle Draw.

How does this work?

For every Lotto Plus line purchased, players get a four-digit Raffle number. Tickets with the Raffle number drawn will win €500. For the Lotto draw on Saturday 28th September, each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn will be entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket will be selected to win an additional prize of €1 million, as well as the usual €500 Raffle prize.

Claims process

Details of the winning Raffle numbers will be published at www.lottery.ie following each of the applicable draws. Our life-changing prize winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and to make contact with our Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to visit Lotto HQ to collect their prizes.
