The countdown is on for Monaghan Lotto player to claim life-changing prize worth €1,000,500!

The National Lottery continues to urge Lotto players to check their tickets from 19th August draw

The National Lottery has issued an urgent appeal to Lotto players who may have purchased their tickets for the Saturday 19th August draw in the Emyvale area to carefully check their old tickets.

A Monaghan player scooped €1,000,500 in a special Lotto Plus Raffle draw event held last August, after purchasing their winning Quick Pick ticket on Thursday 17th August at Williams & Moran Centra on the Main Street in Emyvale, Co. Monaghan.

The winning Raffle number for the Saturday 19th August draw was: 3249

Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in the Saturday 19th August draw were entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1 Million. While every ticket holder who had the winning Raffle number won €500, one player has won €1 Million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.

As ticket holders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prizes, the last date to claim this astonishing amount is fast-approaching as the claim deadline is close of business on Friday 17th November.

A National Lottery spokesperson has urged Lotto players all over the country who may have purchased a ticket in Emyvale in August to carefully check their old tickets immediately.

“We are very eager to hear from the Monaghan player who won a life-changing prize in the special Lotto Plus Raffle held on Saturday 19th August. The claim deadline for their €1,000,500 prize really is getting close now with just over a week to go until the final day to claim which is close of business on Friday 17th November.”

“The all-important winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Thursday 17th August at Williams & Moran Centra on the Main Street in Emyvale. The winning ticketholder could be someone from the area or maybe even someone who was travelling through Monaghan and decided to pop in to buy a ticket on their journey. We are encouraging our players to check everywhere from old coats to handbags, so as to not miss out on this massive amount.”

“The winner, who now has a ticket worth €1,000,500, is advised to make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing prize at Lotto HQ.”
