Just over 24 hours to go until claim deadline for life-changing Lotto prize worth €1,000,500!

The National Lottery issues final appeal for Monaghan Lotto players to check their tickets from 19th August draw

A Lotto player who purchased their ticket for the 19th August draw at Williams & Moran Centra on the Main Street in Emyvale has just over 24 hours left to claim a life-changing prize worth €1,000,500.

The Monaghan player scooped their incredible prize in a special Lotto Plus Raffle event held last August. Each of the tickets with the winning Lotto Plus Raffle number drawn in that particular Saturday night draw were entered into a once-off random draw where one ticket was selected to win an additional prize of €1 million. While every ticket holder who had the winning Raffle number won €500, a Monaghan player won €1 Million, in addition to the usual €500 prize.

The winning Raffle number for the Saturday 19th August draw was: 3249

As ticket holders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prizes, the last date to claim this astonishing amount is close of business tomorrow, Friday 17th November.

A National Lottery spokesperson has appealed to Lotto players nationwide who may have purchased a ticket in Emyvale last August to urgently check their old tickets.

“With just one day to go until the claim deadline for the special €1,000,500 Lotto Plus Raffle prize, we are urging Lotto players all over Ireland who may have purchased a Quick Pick ticket at the Centra store on the Main Street in Emyvale for the 19th August draw to immediately check their old tickets. There is a player out there who has a ticket worth over €1 Million which they are yet to come forward to claim.”

“The winning ticket was purchased two days before the draw on Thursday 17th August so we are encouraging players to think back to any journeys they may have had through the Monaghan town towards the end of the summer. The winner really could be any where as the shop is located on the main road that connects the North and South of the country so it could have been someone travelling through or maybe even a local to the area.”

“We are keeping our fingers crossed that the winner makes contact with us very soon. The ticketholder is advised to sign the back of their ticket and make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie as soon as possible and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing prize at Lotto HQ.”

NO REPRO FEE: 27th October 2023. The National Lottery is continuing to appeal to Lotto players in Monaghan to check their old tickets from Saturday 19th August as a prize worth €1,000,500 remains unclaimed.
