So far this year, six EuroMillions players in Ireland have become millionaires after players in Dublin (2), Donegal, Meath, Limerick and Mayo won €1 Million each in the special EuroMillions Raffle draws which were held in February, July and October.

With the countdown on for tomorrow night’s massive €220 Million (est) draw, the National Lottery is encouraging players planning to play to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery App or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm deadline for ticket sales on Tuesday evening.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “EuroMillions players all over the country are dreaming of taking the title of largest EuroMillions winner ever to be seen in Ireland as the Jackpot looks set to roll towards an estimated €220 Million for Tuesday night’s draw. If a player in Ireland were to win this massive amount, they would take the title from a Naul family syndicate who have remained our largest winners to date after winning €175.4 Million in February 2019. Since 2004, there have been 17 EuroMillions Jackpot winners in Ireland and a win on Tuesday night could see this rise to an incredible 18.”

“As this is the largest amount we have seen in the EuroMillions game since July 2022 when a UK player scooped an astonishing €230 Million, excitement is certain to grow as we get closer to the draw. We are reminding players hoping to join the roll call of record-breaking wins to purchase their tickets early ahead of the 7:30pm cut-off time for sales on Tuesday evening. Don’t forget that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 36 years ago. In 2022 alone, €259 Million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
