EuroMillions Jackpot Reaches €190 Million Cap

EuroMillions Jackpot Guaranteed MUST BE WON - €190 Million on Tuesday, October 8th.

The EuroMillions jackpot was not won on Friday October 4th, that was the fourth draw at the massive jackpot cap of €190million. Under the EuroMillions community rules, the jackpot can only remain at cap for five draws. That means that on Tuesday October 8th we’ve reached the 5th draw and so the €190Million Jackpot WILL BE WON! Great news for all EuroMillions players, over €190m will be won on Tuesday, guaranteed - that’s plenty to Share the Dream!

On Tuesday 8th of October, if there is no winner of the Match 5 and 2 Lucky Stars, the full €190Million Jackpot will flow down to the next tier with a winner (most likely Match 5 + Lucky Star) and be shared amongst winners at that level. As with the previous draws at cap, the amount that would normally be added to the Jackpot will also flow down to the next tier with a winner(s).  For our EuroMillions players that means there is the opportunity to win €190m at the jackpot but also the possibility to become a millionaire, or multi-millionaire, for just matching 5 and 1 lucky star, even more reasons to play.

To date 22 people have been made millionaires during the 4 rolls at cap. This includes one lucky Irish person on Friday 4th October, who shared in the jackpot funds rolldown on the Match 5 & 1 lucky star and won an amazing €2,521,015.

FAQ Section

What is the EuroMillions Cap?

Under the EuroMillions community games rules, the jackpot is capped once it reaches €190 million.

What happens when jackpot reaches a €190 million cap?

When the jackpot reaches a cap of €190 million, it is fixed and guaranteed at that level. This means that any excess amount above €190 million that would normally increase the jackpot size does not, but flows down to the next tier at which there are prize winners.  For example: the jackpot has reached a cap of €190m, but the natural jackpot would be €195m.  That excess of €5m (between the fixed €190m and the natural €195m) flows down to the next tier at which there is/are winner(s). From a players point of view this means there is still a life transforming jackpot of €190m on offer, but also potentially the chance of other million euro prizes to be won in the game.

What happens if the jackpot of €190m is not won?

The jackpot remains fixed and guaranteed at the €190 million cap for the next draw and any excess jackpot value, above €190m, again flows down to the next prize tier at which there are winners.

How long can the jackpot remain capped at €190m?

The jackpot can remain capped at €190m for a total of five successive draws. On the fifth draw if there is still no jackpot winner then the full amount, the €190m and any excess jackpot value, flows down to the next prize tier that there is/are a winner(s) and so Must Be Won.
