Special jackpot event means that Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is a GUARANTEED €130 Million!

The National Lottery has confirmed that this Friday’s (3rd March) EuroMillions jackpot is a GUARANTEED €130 million due to an extra special event among the nine participating countries in the EuroMillions game.

Regardless of the result of tonight’s (Tuesday) €17 million jackpot draw, a guaranteed €130 million will be up for grabs in Friday night’s special draw.

Since the EuroMillions game launched in Ireland in 2004, there have been 17 Irish EuroMillions jackpot winners. If Friday’s night’s staggering €130 million jackpot is won in Ireland, we could see a new Irish winner added to the roll call of life-changing jackpot wins.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery said, “The EuroMillions community holds a special Mega Draw event a number of times a year and it always creates incredible excitement amongst our players. This Friday night could prove to be truly unforgettable for a EuroMillions player in Ireland. Excitement is sure to grow as we get closer to the draw and we are advising our players to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm deadline for sales on Friday evening.”
