The Monaghan player won the €1,000,500 prize in a special Lotto Plus Raffle draw event last August and now has just three weeks left to claim their life-changing prize.

A National Lottery spokesperson has encouraged Lotto players all over the country who are either local to the area or who were passing through and may have purchased a Lotto ticket on Emyvale Main Street, to check their old tickets as soon as possible.

“With the claim deadline fast approaching for this Lotto Plus Raffle prize, we are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that the winner comes forward very soon. A Monaghan player out there has a ticket worth a life-changing amount of €1,000,500. The player could be a local to the area or maybe even someone who was passing through Emyvale and decided to buy a ticket on their travels. We are hoping that Thursday 17th August might ring a bell with a player out there who may have purchased their ticket in at Centra on the Main Steet in Emyvale.”

“As with all of our games, ticketholders have 90 days from the draw date to claim their prize which means that the winner has exactly three weeks left as the claim deadline is close of business on Friday 17th November. The winner, who has a ticket worth €1,000,500, is advised to make contact with our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing prize in Lotto HQ.”
