For the second week in a row, Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 players will be in with a chance to win an even bigger prize than usual as the National Lottery has confirmed that one player is guaranteed to win €10,000 this Saturday.
This weekend will see a random draw take place of all Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 winners from Saturday night’s draw to select one lucky winner to take the extra €10,000, in addition to the usual prize they have won.
Last Saturday, a Donegal player scooped the bonus payment of €10,000 after purchasing their winning ticket at O’Donnell’s Service Station in Crolly, Co. Donegal. On the same night, an online player from Meath won the top prize of €40,000 on the 7 Number game in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.
Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 has a 6 Number game and 7 Number game option across Lotto and Lotto Plus draws. In every draw, the top prize in the 6 Number game is a guaranteed €125,000 while the 7 Number game is guaranteed to be €40,000.
The National Lottery are encouraging Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 players to carefully check their tickets after Saturday’s (8th July) draw as one winner will have an even bigger prize to claim.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Last weekend’s Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 game saw a player in Donegal scoop €10,000, in addition to the normal prize for their category and this weekend, another player will have the chance to follow in their footsteps. Tomorrow night will see a random draw take place of all Lotto 5-4-3-2-1 winners from across the 7 Number and 6 Number games to select just one winner to take the full €10,000. Players are being urged to check their tickets very carefully after tomorrow night’s draw as one winner will have an bigger windfall than expected.”
