Mouth-watering jackpot of an estimated €140 Million up for grabs in tonight’s EuroMillions

Players from Dublin urged to check their tickets as €500,000 EuroMillions prize from February remains unclaimed

Tonight’s (2nd May) Euromillions jackpot is headed for an astonishing €140 Million!

To date there have been 17 Irish winners of the EuroMillions jackpot, the latest being a Co. Clare family syndicate who scooped €30.9 million last February 2022, with a ticket they purchased at Larkin’s Gala service station in Ballina, Co. Tipperary.

As players all over the country dream of becoming Ireland’s 18th EuroMillions jackpot winner, the National Lottery is appealing to players to purchase their tickets early, either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at www.lottery.ie ahead of the 7.30pm deadline for ticket sales this evening.

They said: “The EuroMillions Jackpot has been rolling for ten weeks and it is really capturing the imaginations of players. We are advising all our players who wish to be in with a chance of becoming our 18th EuroMillions jackpot winner, to purchase their tickets early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or at http://www.lottery.ie/ ahead of the 7.30pm deadline for sales on Tuesday evening.”

Meanwhile, The National Lottery is continuing to appeal to players in Dublin as a EuroMillions Plus top prize worth €500,000 from Friday 24th February’s draw remains unclaimed.

The winning ticket was purchased on Thursday 23rd of February at Dunnes Stores in Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre, Tallaght, Co. Dublin.

Ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize which means that the Dublin winner has just THREE weeks left to claim their prize. The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Wednesday 24th of May.

The winning numbers of the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday, 24th of February were: 11, 15, 20, 23, 29.

A National Lottery spokesperson has called on all EuroMillions players in Dublin to carefully check their old tickets from February to ensure that they do not miss out on claiming this outstanding prize.  “If you are the winner, please be sure to sign the back of your winning ticket and immediately contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 35 years ago. In 2021 alone, €304 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
