National Lottery launches ‘12 draws of Christmas’

120 players will win €50,000 on their EuroMillions ticket this Christmas

To kick off this festive season in style, the National Lottery has announced a series of special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ events in which 120 players win an amazing €50,000 guaranteed over the next six weeks.

This raffle event means that ten players will scoop €50,000 in each EuroMillions draw every Tuesday and Friday between November 15th and December 23rd.

Commenting on this exciting Christmas ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ a spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “We’re certainly in the Christmas spirit as we announce this latest event, which will see more than €5 Million worth of prize money guaranteed to be won over the next six weeks! Usually, every EuroMillions draw in Ireland produces ten winners of the €5,000 raffle prize but over the next twelve draws we have created something extra special in the run up to Christmas. These players will have an additional €45,000 added to their prize!

“Not only will the special promotion see 120 players in Ireland win €50,000 over the six weeks, but all EuroMillions players in Ireland will also be in with a chance of becoming Ireland’s second EuroMillions jackpot winner of 2022.”, the spokesperson continued.

How do I enter the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’?

Every player in Ireland who buys a ticket for any EuroMillions draw between the 15th of November and 23rd of December will be automatically entered into the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ for that corresponding draw. A unique code on each ticket will be the player’s raffle number. 120 players over the six weeks will scoop €50,000. It could be you!

How does this work?

As with every EuroMillions draw the ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ sees 10 raffle codes generated with each winning €5,000. However, in this special promotion, raffle players will win €50,000 instead of €5,000 over the next 12 draws.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 35 years ago. In 2021 alone, €304 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
