Hygiene Hub is a charity that works to tackle hygiene poverty, ensuring people across Ireland have access to essential hygiene and personal care products. Founded in 2020, Hygiene Hub collects and distributes hygiene products through a nationwide network of volunteers, supporters, donors and community partners, to provide essential items to those across Ireland who may otherwise go without.
Hygiene Hub are Community Legends for their innovative and courageous response to a crisis that was hiding in plain sight, hygiene poverty. Judges were struck by the founders' determination to build one of Ireland's only dedicated organisations to tackle hygiene poverty, growing from a single donation in 2020 to a national network supporting over 100,000 people every year. Their service has given dignity and relief to thousands of families across Ireland. Hygiene Hub are a truly legendary Good Cause.
