Boher Community Development Group - Tipperary

The Boher Community Development Group were established in 2020 to improve recreational and sports amenities in the local community. Thanks to National Lottery Good Causes funding, the voluntary group have since refurbished the existing community sensory garden which now includes a universally accessible playground, biodiversity trail and a geodome community hub.

FoodCloud - Dublin

FoodCloud is a non-profit social enterprise working to tackle the twin issues of food waste and food security. They do this by redistributing surplus food from the food industry to a network of charity and community partners. Good Causes funding received through the Department of Rural and Community enabled FoodCloud to support their Communications team, who play a vital role in strengthening FoodCloud's ablity to promote its work and establish relationships between funders, beneficiaries, volunteer recruitment and drive political and social change.

Lakers Social and Recreation Club – Wicklow

Lakers Social and Recreation Club provide more than 60 classes per week for adults and young people with intellectual disabilities. The club’s 306 members, who are aged between 5 and 75, benefit from the variety of activities on offer which include tennis, basketball, cookery and art as well as a book club, Ladies friendship circle and Men’s Club.

LGBT Ireland (LGBT Support and Advocacy Network Ireland clg) - Dublin

LGBT Ireland is a national charitable organisation providing support services to people who are lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer, or intersex (LGBTQI+) and their family members. Informed by the issues and experiences raised through our frontline services such as the National LGBT Helpline, which is funded by National Lottery Good Causes, they also undertake extensive training and advocacy work to enhance the visibility, inclusion and rights of LGBTQI+ people living in Ireland.

Waterford Marine Search and Rescue - Waterford

Waterford Marine Search and Rescue, a voluntary based charity who provide a Search, Rescue and Recovery service along with Suicide Prevention Patrols and Flood and Swiftwater Rescues to the people of Waterford City and County and surrounding areas.
