Imagine the tension! You’re about to spin that famous wheel on national Saturday night TV. How hard should you pull? You don’t want a false spin. Mayo man Sean Adair knows all about it. He’s had the excitement of entering a three-star Winning Streak scratch card to the show, sitting at home and having his name called out as one of the next contestants, and then gone on to stand and spin the famous Winning Streak Grand Prize wheel. In November 2009 he was the last contestant standing, no doubt heart hammering with excitement. He’d already won over €40,000 during the game, but when the big wheel finally stopped he’d clinched the best spot to be in, and added another €250,000 to his total. Nice spinning, Mr Adair.
