A good day’s work with a Monday Million
Congratulations Eileen Farrelly, our first Monday Millionaire!
We love finding things that we weren’t particularly looking for, especially when we know they’ll come in useful later. Like when you’re searching for your glasses down the back of the sofa and come up with the long lost DVD remote.
Now take that feeling and multiply it by a nice round million. That’s what lucky Monaghan woman Eileen Farrelly must’ve felt when she checked her numbers in Hannigan’s shop in Cootehill in Cavan. Two days earlier she’d stopped by the shop only to play her usual EuroMillions numbers. The poster for our new game, Monday Million, caught her eye and on a whim she said to the assistant ‘Throw me €2 in that as well.’ One quick Monday evening draw later on the TV3 game show and that’s how Eileen Farrelly became our first Monday Million millionaire.
