Peg purchased the lucky Winning Streak Scratch Card in Supervalu, Togher, Togher Road, Cork and decided to put Con’s name on it. They were watching the show on 19 February, with their grandson Jamie, when Con’s name was pulled out. There was great excitement in the McSweeney household which is still continuing after last Saturday’s win.
Con’s hobbies include river and lake fishing, watching soccer and doing some DIY. He has plenty of plans for his new found fortune including attending his nieces’ wedding in Rome in October this year, buying his wife a new cooker and helping out his family.
