Winning Streak
The National Lottery’s Winning Streak TV Gameshow and Scratch Card is back with gusto for its latest series on RTÉ ONE. In this series, we are delighted to welcome Geri Maye as the new co-presenter with Marty Whelan. The first show of the new season kicks off on Saturday January 7th 2012 and new scratch cards went on sale before Christmas.
A Winning Streak Scratch Card gives you a chance to appear on the TV show or win an instant prize up to €100,000! For those lucky enough to play on the Winning Streak TV Gameshow, a magic €500,000 is available to be won at the spin of the iconic TV Gameshow Grand Prize Wheel for a lucky player each Saturday. The Grand Prize Wheel will again feature an added €250,000 segment for each week that €250,000 or above isn’t won!
The TV Game Show
This season sees Winning Streak return a favourite combination of excitement, fun and great cash prizes. Players will see a number of crowd-pleaser games returning, like Cash Cubes, where players can win up to €50,000 in cash, cars or holidays.
There will be a new feature on Dare to Share called Doubler. Each week a random ball set colour will be chosen and one of the three balls within that set will be removed and replaced with a Doubler Ball. If the Doubler Ball is revealed, at the end of the game, the prize pool generated will be doubled and then shared equally between all players.
Finally the exciting Wheel Reveal game, where one lucky player is chosen for the chance to spin the Wheel and win a top prize of €500,000.
In 2011 over €9.6 million euro was won by contestants taking part in Winning Streak. 36 cars and 71 holidays were snapped up by lucky participants! Let's hope more can be won in 2012!
Dream Maker Wheel
In addition, each week, as part of the TV Gameshow, one lucky player will spin the Dream Maker Wheel for the chance to win between €10,000 and €50,000. Players can enter this supplementary game by collecting the letters G-A-M-E on the stub portion of the Winning Streak Scratch Card.
Good news, the Winning Streak TV gameshow has been extended to June 2nd, and that means there’s an extra Dream Maker player needed too! So we have extended the closing date for your G-A-M-E stubs by a week, to May 24th! If you have the letters G-A-M-E from stub section of a Winning Streak Scratch Card, pop them into an envelope and send into us before 10am, Thursday May 24th and who knows, we might see you on the Winning Streak show of June 2nd!
Each week the Winning Streak TV Gameshow will feature a National Lottery supported project.
How to enter
To enter the Winning Streak TV Gameshow, players must submit a 3-star ticket in one of the special 3-star envelopes, which are available from all National Lottery Retail Sales Agents. Each Thursday in National Lottery offices, 100 3-star entries are drawn randomly in a preliminary draw that takes place under the supervision of KPMG. From these 100 entries, the five players for the following show are drawn and their names are featured on the Gameshow.
