National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway
The National Lottery will run a promotion during the month of August to celebrate the National Lottery’s 25th Anniversary.
Twenty five entries will be drawn at each of four weekly draws on Friday 10, 17, 24 and 31 August 2012. The owner of each winning entry drawn will receive an invitation from the National Lottery to participate at the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway event to be held at the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham on Sunday16th September 2012. One hundred prizes ranging in value from €5,000 to €250,000 will be drawn at the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway event and participants may win only one prize.
To enter the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway, post any current non-winning National Lottery ticket in the special white envelope available at National Lottery retail agents, to the National Lottery Draw Entry Address:

Full name, address, signature and phone number (if applicable) must be written in the space provided on the envelope.
Entries are to be submitted in the name of one individual only.
You must be over 18 years of age to enter the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
Any non-winning National Lottery ticket/entry, including National Lottery Play Online games or entries will be accepted from the following games: Lotto, EuroMillions, TellyBingo, Monday Million, All or Nothing, Lotto 54321, Millionaire Raffle or any National Lottery scratchcard. Ticket/entry must be currently eligible for National Lottery prize validation.
To be eligible for prize validation a ticket/entry must have been purchased from a National Lottery game currently eligible for prize validation through the National Lottery Retail Sales Agent Network or National Lottery Play Online. Draw based game tickets/entries must have been purchased within 90 days of the weekly 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway draw in which that ticket/entry has been entered with the exception of advance play tickets which may have been purchased within 121 days of the weekly 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway draw in which that ticket/entry has been entered. Scratchcard ticket entries from National Lottery Games whose game end has been publicly announced and advertised in the national media will not be eligible for entry to the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
Play Online tickets are not automatically entered into the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
To enter a Play Online non winning ticket, access My Account and in Account History click on the game name (Lotto, EuroMillions or Instant Win game) to bring up the Game Information pop up, click print (as below). Full name, address and signature must be written on the back of the printed Play Online Game Information and posted to the National Lottery draw entry address in the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway envelope. Each Play Online non winning ticket/entry may only be entered once.
Only tickets/entries received in the designated 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway white envelope will be accepted.
A ticket/entry eligible for inclusion in the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway will be a ticket that conforms to the following criteria:
The ticket is not mutilated, altered, unreadable, or tampered with in any manner.
The ticket is not counterfeit in whole or in part.
The ticket has been issued by the Company in an authorised manner.
The ticket is not a stolen ticket.
The ticket has been purchased through an authorised Retail Sales Agent or National Lottery Play Online and is currently eligible for prize validation.
The ticket/entry has been individually sealed in a designated correctly stamped envelope, posted to arrive at The National Lottery Draw Entry address no later than 10.00 am on the day of the draw, or:
The ticket/entry has been individually sealed in a designated envelope and the envelope inserted along with another sealed designated envelope or envelopes containing individual tickets in one outer correctly stamped and sealed cover to arrive at The National Lottery Draw Entry address no later than 10.00 am on the day of the draw, or:
The ticket/entry has been enveloped and sealed as outlined above and is hand-delivered to The National Lottery Headquarters no later than 10.00 am on the day of the draw.
A ticket/entry arriving by any means or under any conditions other than above, may be rejected for inclusion in a draw, in which case there will be no referral or correspondence.
The National Lottery will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries.
All undrawn entries will be destroyed under National Lottery supervision following the final 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway draw on 31st August.
The National Lottery will not be responsible for entrants posting a prize winning National Lottery ticket to the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway postal address.
Any 3 Star, Big Money “USA” or Winning Streak “SHOW” draw entries, which are received in the 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway white draw entry envelope, will not be transferred to the appropriate envelope and/or draw. Any scratchcards bearing draw entry eligibility for the ‘Big Money TV Game Show’, ‘Winning Streak TV Game Show’, ‘Big Money’ USA or Winning Streak “SHOW” entries will not be eligible for the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway. Any stub portion or combination of stub portions from a National Lottery scratchcard will not be eligible for the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
You may enter as often as you like but there is a limit of one entry per draw entry envelope.
There will be four weekly draws for 25 winners. These will take place on Friday 10, 17, 24 and 31 August 2012.
Entries received by 10am on the day of each draw will be included in the weekly draw.
Entries received after that deadline will be placed in the next weekly draw, where applicable.
Entries are eligible for one drawing only.
Entries received after the deadline for the fourth and final drawing on August 31st, will not be eligible for the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
A participant may only win once in the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
Participation in the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway constitutes entrant's consent to the publication of his or her name, and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation.
Announcement of Winners
Winning entrants to the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway will be notified by the National Lottery Company. Each winning entrant will be contacted to verify his/her name and address details and to confirm that he/she is over 18 years of age. Details of the winning entrants may be publicised.
Winning entrants must be available to attend the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway event to be held in the Royal Hospital, Dublin on Sunday September 16th from 11am - 3pm. Subject to National Lottery agreement, a winning entrant may appoint a proxy to attend in their place at the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway event. In the event that the National Lottery cannot contact a winning entrant a proxy may be appointed by the National Lottery on their behalf.
Prizes will be paid to winning entrants by cheque. The National Lottery will not be responsible for acquiring commodity prizes on behalf of winning entrants. Prizes shown are for illustration purposes only.
Draw Entry Restrictions
Anyone prohibited from purchasing or owning a National Lottery ticket under the National Lottery Act 1986 is not entitled to enter the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
By participating in the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway, the participant agrees to comply with, and abide by, the law of the Republic of Ireland, this ‘Special Procedure and Rules’ and all procedures and instructions established by The National Lottery for the conduct of the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall The National Lottery or any of its officers, directors, agents, employees, affiliates or other representatives be held liable for any delay or failure in performance of the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature, forces or causes beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, internet failure, computer equipment failures, telecommunication failures (including mobile networks), other equipment failures, electrical power failure, strikes, riots, interactions, civil disturbances, shortages of labour or materials, fires, storms, explosions, acts of God, orders of domestic or foreign courts or tribunals, delays, losses, errors or omissions in or made by the postal or other delivery services or the non-performance of a third party.
DECISIONS OF NATIONAL LOTTERY BINDING
All decisions of The National Lottery concerning the National Lottery 25th Anniversary Prize Giveaway, including decisions as to the validity of tickets/entries, the identity of the owner of any ticket/entry, the determination of prize winners, the interpretation, application, meaning and effect of this Special Procedure and Rules and The National Lottery's procedures shall be final and binding on all participants, and any other person or persons concerned for any reason with these matters.
