THE NATIONAL LOTTERY DUBLIN MARATHON 2011
The National Lottery is proud to sponsor the 32nd Dublin Marathon in 2011. Last year, a record 13,500 people participated in the Dublin Marathon, and over 20,000 people took part in the Race Series. The economic value of the Dublin Marathon to the city of Dublin over the Bank Holiday weekend is estimated at over €10 million. This year the 2011 National Lottery Dublin Marathon will be broadcast live on RTE TWO. The National Lottery Dublin Marathon takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, 31 October 2011.
As part of our sponsorship of the overall Dublin Marathon event, the National Lottery is proudly sponsoring the Dublin Marathon Race Series. This encompasses three race distances which will take place in the Phoenix Park - one in July, August and September 2011.
The Race Series provides the perfect build-up to the National Lottery Dublin Marathon. The Dublin Marathon is a big step-up from the other three races with a distance of 26.2 miles. For full details on the course for the Marathon click here.
