Banish the Monday Blues
Banish those Monday Blues by playing Monday Million from the National Lottery. For €1 per line, play for a chance to win €1Million by matching six numbers from thirty nine.
The game, which went on sale on September 23rd 2008 with the first draw, is broadcast live on TV3 every Monday at 8.28pm.
How to play Monday Million
Choose your own numbers
* Pick up a Monday Million playslip from any National Lottery Lotto Agent.
* Each playslip contains ten panels.
* There is no minimum play, each panel per draw costs €1. For each panel that you play you can choose six numbers from 1 to 39.
Choose “Quick Pick”
* Simply ask your Lottery Agent for the number of Quick Picks you wish to play and the Lottery terminal will print out your ticket with the randomly selected numbers on it.
* Alternatively, you may simply tick the Quick Pick box in the panel(s) you wish to play and the terminal will randomly select your numbers for you.
Choose Advance Play
Whether you are away or cannot play, Advance Play is the easy way to ensure your lucky Monday Million numbers are always in the game.
*Advance Play is a facility which allows you to play up to 4 draws in advance.
*Simply tick the appropriate Advance Play box for 2, 3 or 4 draws.

Entry into the game
* Hand the completed playslip and money to the National Lottery Agent and in return you will receive your ticket for the draw(s).
* The numbers will be printed on your ticket reading across on one line for each panel played.
* An easy way to play the same set of numbers every draw is to keep using the same playslip which the Agent will return to you each time you play.
* A game ticket is valid for one Monday Million draw except in the case of Advance Play.
* Tickets bought up to draw close will be included in that draw. Draw close is at 8pm and draw will be broadcast at approximately 8.28pm on TV3 every Monday.
How do I win?
In each Monday Million draw six numbers and a Bonus number will be drawn from the numbers 1 to 39 inclusive. The prize amount payable for each Monday Million draw is fixed. To win a prize in any draw, the numbers matched must be on one line. The following are the prize categories and prize amounts for the Monday Million Draws.
Match 6 Numbers – Win €1,000,000
Match 5 Numbers and the Bonus Number - Win €10,000
Match 5 Numbers – Win €500
Match 4 Numbers and the Bonus Number - Win €100
Match 4 Numbers – Win €25
Match 3 Numbers and the Bonus Number - Win €10
Match 3 Numbers – Win €3 scratch card
In the event that the €1,000,000 top prize is not won, it does not rollover to the next Monday Million Draw. This applies to all prize categories in the Monday Million game. In the event that there is more than one prize winner at any prize level, each winner will receive the full prize amount at that level; subject to a maximum prize payout of €5 million on any single Monday Million draw.
